Climb the 25-metre Tang Bong Tower for panoramic views over the dense mangrove canopy, then take part in engaging activities such as crab fishing and guided crocodile fishing. At approximately 12:15 PM, enjoy lunch at Carrot Restaurant featuring local specialities. In the afternoon, visit Forest Park, also known as Monkey Island, home to more than 1,000 freely roaming monkeys. Continue to the Can Gio Museum to learn about the area’s ecology and wartime past, followed by the Mangrove Forest Fauna Conservation Center, which shelters crocodiles, pythons, otters, deer, wild cats, and other species. Later, venture deeper into the mangroves by canoe to explore the historic Rung Sac Guerrilla Base, a former Viet Cong stronghold.
